Aotearoa New Zealand Social Workers' Day is a fantastic day to celebrate and highlight the incredible mahi social workers do throughout the motu.
Aotearoa New Zealand Social Workers' Dayis held on the third Wednesday of September each year. This year it is on 17 September 2025.
We encourage you to organise a celebration, whether in your workplace or in your local region.
